Step 3: Enrollment
Decision and Deposit
Accepted students may enroll in the freshman class upon receipt of the admission decision. Enrollment involves the payment of a $100 deposit and submission of all acceptance materials. (Enrollment is first-come, first-served until the ninth grade class reaches 100 students.)
Tuition Assistance Applications
In our continued commitment to keep a personal and values-based Catholic education accessible, OLSH offers tuition assistance on a fund-available basis for families who demonstrate need. OLSH grants qualifying families financial awards that are funded through The OLSH Fund, the school’s annual fund, as well as outside benefactors.
Tuition for the 2016-2017 school year is $9,500 for all students. A $500 fee for the Angela Activities Center is also charged.
Applications are available for two types of tuition assistance: OLSH Tuition Assistance and Diocesan Tuition Assistance.
The application deadline for both types is March 15, 2017. Applications can be completed after families have completed their 2016 tax forms. Links to these applications will be available on the Financial Information page. Applications for tuition assistance will continue to be accepted after the deadline, however, funds may be limited.
OLSH offers a variety of scholarships to incoming and current students. For more information, please see our Scholarships page.
Tuition Assistance Notifications
If your family completes tuition assistance applications by the March 15 deadline, you will be notified of your OLSH award package via mail by late April.
Step 4: Course Placement
The Course Placement process begins in the spring of the student’s eighth grade year. The results of the Placement Test, recommendations from current 8th grade teachers, and other additional testing may be used during this process.
Students who deposit by May 1, 2017, will receive an email through which they may select a foreign language course and their top choices for electives. Course placement will depend upon course availability.
