Track Teams Headed to the WPIAL Championships

The Boys & Girls Track & Field teams traveled to Baldwin High School for the Baldwin Invitational meet held on May 5, 2017. Below are some highlights from the meet:

The girls 4×4 team (Maria Lohmann ’17, Tara Richardson ’17, Haley Hamilton ’20, and Madison Tanczos ’20) ran a school record time of 4:11.54, earning 4th place.
The boys 4×4 relay team (Matt Schnarre ’17, Chris Kocent ’18, Matt Quinn ’17, and Cole Cejer ’17) ran a 3:33.90, earning 4th place.
The girls 4×1 relay team (Marissa Bordas ’20, Lisa Nardozzi ’20, Aesling McCullough ’17, and Madison Tanczos ’17) turned in aWPIAL qualifying time of 53.79.
Chris Kocent ’18 ran aWPIAL qualifying time of 2:02.98 in the 800.
Matt Schnarre ’17 ran the 400 in 53.22.
Cole Cejer ’17 ran the 200 in 24.22.
Haley Hamilton ’20 ran the 1600 in 5:26.81, earning 7th place.

Next up for the Chargers will be the WPIAL Championships to be held at Baldwin High School on May 18, 2017.
