5 years of service: Andrea Bagnell, Terry O'Rourke Donoghue, Mallory Hurley, Kristofer Karagory
10 years of service: Valerie Harrison, Theresa Long, Catherine Neubert, Kristi Vent
20 years of service: Brian Molka
30 years of service: Barbara Desman

The faculty took time to recognize Mrs. Barbara Desman's 30 years of service to OLSH. Mrs. Desman has taught English and Reading, served as English department chair, served as Middle States coordinator, and conceived and implemented the OLSH Writing & Learning Center (OWL). Next year Mrs. Desman will take a break from classroom teaching, but will remain as English Department Chair, Director of the OWL Center, and will work with the Middle States coordinating team. Mrs. Desman thanked the faculty, staff, and administration, and shared the story of her beloved ficus plant, which she bequeathed to Mr. Tyler Rodgers who will be moving into her classroom next year.
