The Trib Total Media Outstanding Young Citizen Program announced the Elite Top 100 this week. The Program recognizes young men and women with exemplary character and leadership, community service, and academic achievements who were nominated by family, friends, teachers, or members of the community.

Three OLSH students were selected for the Elite Top 100: Julia Sarnowski '19, Mae Twyman '19, and Abby Messner '20. All three are Student Ambassadors and members of National Honor Society and they have each performed a variety of community service projects throughout their high school careers.

 

Seniors in the Elite Top 100 are eligible to apply for a scholarship of $5,000 that will be awarded to one boy and one girl. All of the students in the Elite Top 100 are invited to attend a banquet in April, where the top 10 gold medalists will be announced and the scholarships will be awarded.
