Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School celebrated the OLSH Gala 2020: Charging Forward on Saturday, February 8. The event served as an opportunity to celebrate community and to raise funds for the school. “We were blessed to have 14 Felician Sisters in attendance and to have the financial support of the Felician Sisters of North America as our lead sponsor for the evening,” noted Cheryl Karashin, OLSH VP for Advancement. Karashin also shared a reflection on alumna, former teacher, principal, and volunteer, Sr. Mary Pulcheria Saukaitis ’36, who passed away a few months ago. In addition to Felician Sisters, attendees included current parents, faculty and staff, alumni, alumni parents, and friends, as well as a dedicated group of student volunteers. The event generated over $60,000 in revenue to advance the mission of OLSH and the community congratulated former English teacher Mrs. Barbara Desman with the prestigious Legacy Award.
