"When deciding to move forward with Give OLSH Day, we knew we did so during a challenging time for everyone," said Cheryl Karashin, OLSH VP for advancement. "Yet on April 2nd the OLSH family came together as a community, with an overwhelming outpouring of support." Last week we asked our community to consider making a gift to support emergency tuition assistance for our families in need or a gift to support our efforts as we transition to distance learning.
The OLSH family responded by giving over $25,000 on #GiveOLSH Day. Each dollar was matched by a generous anonymous donor, giving a grand total of over $50,000 to support our families and our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our school community is so grateful to all of those who participated on April 2.
