This year, OLSH combined Catholic Schools Week with the launch of the Charger Challenge giving campaign. A group of students and staff decorated the school to enhance the atmosphere and encourage school spirit. Each day was designated a special dress day including pop culture t-shirt day, flannel day, twin day, and OLSH spirit day. Special activities included a virtual pep rally and faculty vs. students basketball game livestreamed to classrooms, prayer services in theology classes, and the traditional academic challenge which pits class teams against each other in an academic quiz show as they fight for bragging rights and the chance to face the talented teacher team. The Advancement Team passed out treats and drinks to students to encourage participation in the Charger Challenge fundraiser and parents brought in special treats to appreciate teachers. It was a great week celebrating our school!
