Charger fans are excited to be making the trip to Hershey tomorrow for the Boys Basketball 2A PIAA Championship game. This year's team has had a remarkable season, undefeated in regular and post-season play and winners of three WPIAL titles in three years. The Chargers made an earlier run for the state title in 2018, ending the season as runner-up, and in 2019, their season ended with a disappointing loss in the semifinal round. The 2020 PIAA playoffs were canceled due to COVID-19. The Chargers are ready for an exciting match-up against Constitution in this year’s championship game.
Tickets to the game at Hershey’s GIANT Center may be available via Ticketmaster on Thursday evening. OLSH students, parents, alumni, and staff already received information about accessing the ticket pre-sale event via email.
On Thursday, the school community lined Woodcrest Avenue to send off the Chargers with a wave of purple and gold as the team bus headed to Hershey to prepare for the game. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 pm, Friday, March 26.
For those unable to attend the game in person, there are two options for following the action.
