The OLSH Chargers have been busy preparing for the Fall 2021 sports season! Here's your guide to cheer on the Chargers this fall:
OLSH Boys & Girls Cross Country
Head Coach: Jim Hamilton
First Meet: Saturday, September 4 - California University Invitational
First Home Meet: Tuesday, September 14 at 4:00 pm vs. Eden Christian and Avonworth
Home Course: Youthtowne
Last Season: The boys went 5-3 in section meets. The boys team finished 5th at WPIALs marking the fourth straight year the team finished in the top 5. The girls team went 7-1 in section meets and ended the season as WPIAL runners up!
OLSH Football
Head Coach: Dan Bradley
First Game: Friday, August 27 at Apollo Ridge
First Home Game: Friday, September 10 at 7:00 pm vs. Beaver Falls
Home Field: Moon High School Stadium
Last Season: The Chargers went 5-3 and made WPIAL playoffs for the fifth straight season.
OLSH Golf
Head Coach: Ron Lucas
First Match: Monday, August 23 vs. Rochester - OLSH Wins 278-293
Next Home Match: Tuesday, August 31 at 4:00 pm vs. Aquinas Academy
Home Course: Deer Trails Country Club, Industry, PA
Last Season: The team went 2-6 in a rebuilding year.
OLSH Boys Soccer
Head Coach: Eric Carothers
First Game: Saturday, September 4 at 12:00 pm at Seton La Salle
First Home Game: Tuesday, September 7 at 5:30 pm vs. Neshannock
Home Field: Youthtowne
Last Season: The Chargers went undefeated in the regular season for the first time in program history and finished 11-1-1, losing in the WPIAL semifinals.
OLSH Girls Soccer
Head Coach: Paige Petroval
First Game/First Home Game: Friday, September 3 at 5:30 pm vs. Eden Christian Academy
Home Field: Youthtowne
Last Season: The Chargers had their strongest finish in program history as the WPIAL runners-up and a 12-3 record. The team is returning four players who were named WPIAL All-Section last year.
OLSH Girls Volleyball
Head Coach: Mike McDonald
First Game: Saturday, September 4 at Canon Mac Invitational
First Home Game: Thursday, September 9 at 6:00 (JV)/7:30 pm (varsity) vs. Bishop Canevin
Home Court: OLSH AAC
Last Season: Girls Volleyball ended with a 13-4 record and made it to the semifinal round of WPIAL playoffs, losing to Bishop Canevin, who they'll meet again in their first home match.
