The OLSH softball team hasn’t missed a spot in the playoffs since Doc Quinn took the helm in 2017. After leading this year’s team to the WPIAL semifinals and a 14-5 record, he earned the Beaver County Times’ accolade of Softball Coach of the Year. Quinn shared his coaching philosophy with the Times: Take any negative and make it a positive. “We want to make our girls feel good about playing. If the girls feel good, they’re going to play good.”
