The third annual OLSH Trivia Night was a huge success, hosted this year at a new venue, The Hub in Coraopolis. The school also worked with a new trivia company this year, Trivia Jockeys, owned by OLSH alumni parent Diana Rua (mother of Isabella Costanzo ‘21) to keep the night lively and captivating. The new features offered by Trivia Jockeys, including all-digital trivia on provided iPads, instant feedback on correct answers, bonus points for the first team to answer correctly, and team theme songs were a huge hit.
Another highlight of the evening was the exciting "Dead or Alive" game, which had participants on the edges of their seats. After over 25 correct guesses, OLSH parent Eric Hansen emerged victorious, earning well-deserved applause. OLSH faculty and alumni celebrated other wins at the event. The Grinch-themed team won best table theme and included Mr. Rodgers dressed as the Grinch and Mrs. Buettner '04, Ms. Hollabaugh '04, and Miss Tarnik as other members of Whoville. The big winners of the Trivia Game were Team Kielbasa Posse, which included Mr. Miller, Mrs. Jarocki, Mr. McCarren, Mrs. Wallover '07 and their friends and family members.
With support from raffle baskets generously donated by several of our athletic teams, the event raised over $3,000 for OLSH athletics. Special thanks to event sponsors Covenant Financial Advisors for their continued support. We’re so grateful to our alumni, teachers, staff, and the entire OLSH community for making this night memorable and successful!
