The OLSH community once again demonstrated its commitment to service and compassion at this year’s Love Walk for the Poor, an event that has been bringing people together for decades. Founded by Sister Louise Marie Olsofka, the annual walk is a meaningful way to stand in solidarity with those in need while supporting two important local organizations: Choices Pregnancy Services and Our Lady’s Food Pantry.
This year’s walk saw an incredible turnout, with over 45 participants joining together in the spirit of giving. Students, faculty, and community members gathered to walk and donate essential items, including baby supplies for Choices Pregnancy Services and non-perishable food for Our Lady’s Food Pantry.
The Love Walk for the Poor is more than just a tradition—it’s an opportunity for the OLSH family to live out their values of faith, service, and love. Each year, participants are encouraged to reflect on the importance of helping those in need and making a tangible impact in their community.
Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make this year’s Love Walk for the Poor a success. Your generosity and kindness continue to make a difference!
