On a night filled with excitement, charm, and a touch of derby-chic, the OLSH community came together for the annual Auction for OLSH event and raised over $65,000 for students and programs. The event was a resounding success, blending fun, philanthropy, and a little Derby-themed excitement.

One of the standout moments of the evening was the animated turtle races, which had guests on the edge of their seats and cheering with enthusiasm. The lighthearted races brought a sense of playful competition to the night, with the crowd erupting in applause as the turtles zoomed (or crawled) toward the finish line.

A spirited Live Auction followed, with bids flying fast and furious. In under an hour, the auction raised over $16,000 in funds for OLSH. Guests were excited to bid on the wide variety of prizes offered in the live and silent auctions and raffle baskets! 

The night also featured a post-dinner cocktail hour - the Derby Delights Party, giving guests the perfect opportunity to reconnect, mingle, and enjoy conversation in a relaxed setting. We also welcomed additional guests who skipped dinner and joined us for the Party only! Amidst the laughter and cheers, guests showed off their finest fascinators—adding to the festive atmosphere that made the evening truly memorable.

This event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the amazing auction committee—comprising parents, alumni, and alumni parents—who poured creativity, energy, and heart into bringing the event to life. Their efforts were instrumental in creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.
