In celebration of National Catholic Sisters Week, OLSH faculty and students joined with the Felician Sisters at Mooncrest for an afterschool service project. The group worked with children in the Mooncrest Afterschool Program to make paper flowers in memory of Sr. M. Rene Procopio, who coordinated the Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs for many years. Sr. Rene, who was a member of the OLSH Class of 1962, passed away on March 10, and the flowers made by the children and volunteers will be presented at her memorial.

Below are the service arrangements for Sister Rene. Eternal rest grant unto her, Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
