Our Lady of the Sacred Heart alumni from across the country gathered together on October 2nd to celebrate the annual presentation of the OLSH Distinguished Alumni Awards and to recognize the 50th class reunion, this year to the class of 1968.
The OLSH Distinguished Alumni Awards honor and recognize alumni who embody the particular characteristics of each award category. The four alumni recognized were William S. Stickman IV ’98 - Alumnus with Heart, Dr. Andrea Mastro ’62 - Professional Excellence Award, Sandy (Cahalan) Merrill ’11 - Young Alumnus Award, and Amanda (Klein) Gonzales ’02 - Christian Leadership Alumni Award.
More than a dozen members of the Class of 1968 gathered to celebrate their 50th class reunion during the alumni brunch, as well. Friendships were reunited and memories were rekindled during this festive and energetic morning. The brunch was capped off by a rousing rendition of the OLSH alma mater. Sr. Francine Horos ’68 led the 80-voices in attendance in the singing.
