OLSH senior Colin Kyle just completed competition in the 2018 PIAA Individual Boys Division 2 Championship at Heritage Hills Golf Course in York, PA. The four year letter-winner and captain of the golf team had an exciting end to his senior year season as he also qualified for the WPIAL individual championship match. It was his score there that qualified him to try for a chance to compete at the state level. Colin made it through the PIAA qualifying round to represent OLSH for just the second time in school history at the PIAA Golf Championship. Colin scored 87 in round 1 and 80 in round 2 on the par 71 course. His total score of 167 earned him a tie for 25th place (the winning score for his division was 149). Jack Tipton ’00 was the first OLSH student to qualify for the golf championship. His two-day total score was 165 and he tied for 55th place overall in 1999. Congratulations to Colin for a great run and for representing OLSH well!
