Sr. Francine Horos has experienced just about every perspective at OLSH - she was a student, then served as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and is now back to teaching. She has taught countless students valuable math skills and helped them to be more confident in those skills. Outside of the classroom, Sr. Francine can often be found on the sidelines of any OLSH sport, cheering on the Chargers to victory!

OLSH Theatre students participated in a multi-session sound workshop led by audio professional David Sykut. The group learned about sound and how to use various pieces of sound equipment, and put their knowledge into action by recording a radio show.

The OLSH Faculty is a strong group of professionals who are committed to carrying out OLSH’s mission of educating and transforming each student for a life of exceptional Christian leadership, stewardship, and service to all.

The cast and crew of the OLSH Spring Musical, "Once Upon a Mattress", was nominated for six awards including Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Crew/Technical Execution, Best Actress: Alyssa Brinza, and Best Musical Budget Level 1!

Members of OLSH's Young Hands Service group, along with Mission Leader Mr. Jeff Hulbert and visiting Sr. Ann Marie Klasky, went to the organization whose mission is to use God and horses to nurture body, mind, and spirit.

Kevin Joyce is new to the OLSH staff this year, but has jumped right in, teaching honors level social studies courses to sophomores and seniors. He brings his love of sports and experience in sports journalism to the classroom, connecting with students.

Andrea Bagnell's role as a Reader for the College Board's AP Program provides her with even more resources to help her students succeed with critical thinking skills. Over 90% of her students have earned a qualifying score on the AP exam over the past three years!

Mrs. Emily Sgrignoli joined the OLSH staff this year, bringing with her experience teaching internationally. She will offer Advanced Studio Art next year, and has submitted her curriculum to The College Board for AP Course approval.

OLSH’s tradition of hosting an Empty Bowls Event in the spring continued this year, raising over $1,000 for Our Lady’s Pantry.
