OLSH has a myriad of traditions that seniors are eager to participate in each year. The class of 2023 took full advantage of the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments together this week.

The OLSH Fine Arts department invites families to join them in the school auditorium each spring for a showcase of student talent. This year’s festival featured art in various forms and instrumental and vocal performances.

Students were recognized for academic, athletic, and service-oriented achievements at the annual OLSH Honors Convocation on Monday night. Academic Course Awards, Scholarships, and special awards were announced, including the top graduates.

The Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre are held annually at the Benedum Center each Spring. The cast and crew of Big Fish earned 7 nominations for the 2023 awards, including Best Musical!

Each year, members of the freshman class interview their oldest living relative and present them with a book on their life.

As we continue to celebrate 90 years of OLSH history, the community gathered for the annual Auction event at the Doubletree Hotel on Saturday, April 29th. The Auction for OLSH: A Celebratory Soiree successfully raised over $70,000 to fund student projects, activities, and more.

Justena Giles is the first OLSH softball player to throw a no-hitter! She struck out 12 batters across 7 innings.

In a show of Solidarity with People in Need, students in Honors Theology IV were evicted from their lockers and provided with garbage bags to carry their belongings in for a full day.

Quinn Santelli struck out 13 batters and gave up 0 hits through 6 innings last night. His game ball will be placed in the trophy case at the AAC!
